Hi, is it true that we can't use the fastest shinkansen using the Japan Rail Pass? Eg. We can't use the Nozomi? Thank you.

Hi Howards,
A few things to note, the JR Pass includes the fastest Shinkansen trains, these are the Hayabusa Shinkansen.
That said, restrictions do apply to Nozomi and Mizuho train services. These are commuter services on the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen, you can use Hikari and Kodama Shinkansen on the exact same routes instead with the JR Pass.
