Hello!
I've been trying to research whether or not the JR pass is what I need, but my head is getting fried with all the information on line restrictions and what not, so I thought it best to just ask on the basis of the travel I am personally going to be doing.
Basically, I would like to know if the JR Pass is what I need.
We are going to be in Japan from May 22nd to June 2nd. Our flight lands in Narita Airport and we are staying in Nakano.
There's also going to be a bullet train journey, roundtrip in a single day, to Osaka (from Tokyo). That is the only journey outside of Tokyo we'll be making.
Is the JR Pass going to be the cheaper option? Or should we buy individual shinkansen tickets? Also, does the JR Pass get us from Narita Airport, too?
When I went last time, all my travel was done above ground using a Suica card. Would we still be able to use the JR Pass in the same manner?
If anyone could help I'd be so grateful!
