Hi, we would love help deciding which pass/passes would be most economical. Will the 14 day pass be enough, or is it best to book individual trips?

April 2026
19/04 HND (car transfer)
20/04 Tokyo to Kanazawa
21/04
22/04 Kanazawa to Takayama (bus?)
23/04 Takayama to Kyoto
24/04
25/04
26/04 return day trip from Kyoto to Hiroshima/Miyajima
27/04
28/04 to Kyoto to Naoshima Island
29/04
30/04
01/05 Naoshima to To Osaka
02/05
03/05 Osaka To Tokyo
04/05 (no day trips planned)
05/05
06/05
07/05
08/05 Narita (car transfer)

Thank you :-)

Hi there,

Given your itinerary, you could consider the following regional pass options:

As you are travelling during Golden Week, trains will be extremely crowded. I recommend making seat reservations at your earliest convenience.

I hope this helps!

Kind Regards,

Mariko

Thank you very much. Would getting to Uno Station (for Naoshima) be included? and would we then just buy a ticket to get back from Osaka to Tokyo?

I see that Uno station is included - great recommendation thank you.

On our way back from Osaka to Tokyo on 3 May we would like to stop in Hakone for the museum .. Is there a best pass for this?
