17 day trip - best pass please

Given your itinerary, you could consider the following regional pass options:

• Osaka-Tokyo Hokuriku Arch Pass (7 days): This is ideal for your journey from Tokyo to Kanazawa and down to Kyoto.

• Kansai-Hiroshima Area Pass (5 days): This would perfectly cover your travels around Kyoto, Osaka, and your day trip to Hiroshima.

As you are travelling during Golden Week, trains will be extremely crowded. I recommend making seat reservations at your earliest convenience.

Thank you very much. Would getting to Uno Station (for Naoshima) be included? and would we then just buy a ticket to get back from Osaka to Tokyo?

On our way back from Osaka to Tokyo on 3 May we would like to stop in Hakone for the museum .. Is there a best pass for this?

The Kansai-Hiroshima Area Pass covers Uno Station, but the Osaka-Tokyo Hokuriku Arch Pass does not.

It was suggested to use 2 regional passes but we have amended our trip slightly. If we use th eregional passes do we need to buy the extra day from Osaka to Tokyo via Hakone?

For your itinerary above, the best value option would be a combination of the Kansai-Hiroshima Area Pass and the Osaka-Tokyo Hokuriku Arch Pass. For the last leg of your journey from Osaka to Tokyo, you can simply purchase individual tickets.
