Hi,
I will be travelling to Japan from 9-18th Sept, arriving in KIX and leaving via NRT. My current plan is as follow:
9th: Arrive in KIX at night, train to Osaka and rest
10th: Day trip to Kyoto and back by train, explore Osaka at night
11th: Day trip to Kobe and back by train, explore Osaka at night
12th: Train to Hakone, explore Osaka in the morning if time permits
13th: explore Hakone, train at noon towards Tokyo
14th-16th: Explore Tokyo
17th: Day trip to Nikko and back by train
18th: Take Narita Express to airport in the morning, flight is around 10am.
I am planning to buy the following passes:
- 3Days Kansai Wide Pass: For 9th - 11th, to accommodate our train from airport to accom and the 2 day trips
- 7Days JR Pass: For 12th-18th, to accommodate travel to Hakone, Nikko day trips, and Narita Express ride.
Please advise if the passes I plan to get can cover the journeys, and also if it is actually worth it to get them.
