My husband and I want to explore the Kansai region in November. We would like to base ourselves in Osaka and make day trips to the surrounding areas. We had been to Kyoto and Nara before. I just wonder whether it is worth getting the JR pass? Our whole trip will be 7 days. Any advice will be appreciated.

Hi there,
A JR Pass that is valid nationwide would not be worth it but we have a good range of Regional JR Passes that's worth considering.
For instance, have a look at the Kansai Area Pass and/or Kansai Area WIDE Pass..
Hope this helps,
Daniel
