Hello

We are visiting Japan in the 2nd week of April. PLease go fly into and out of Narita. Staying 2 nights in Tokyo, 3 nights in Hakone and 2 nights in Kyoto . We would like to see as many areas from these places as possible including day trips) . Traveling with 2 girls age 7 and 10 . Confused about which JRR pass we should buyt to explore places in and around efficiently

Hello Savita,

You could use a 7 day JR Pass if you make a return between Tokyo - Kyoto. Then try to fit in some day trips to make the best use out of the JR Pass. Personally, I like cities like Nikko, Nara and Kamakura they can all be accessed for free once you buy a Japan Rail Pass.

You can also use the pass to travel to/from the airport.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
