Here's how the route would look like coming from Osaka station. Basically travel to Shin-Osaka station from your accommodation and take the Shinkansen (Hikari Express) from there to Odawara station.

You are correct - the Nozomi is not covered. On www.hyperdia.com click on "More Options" and then uncheck the box with Nozomi next to it - then all search results will exclude Nozomi and Mizuho trains.

Yes the JR Pass is not covered but it does not stop at Odawara station anyway.

It's smart to make seat reservations with your JR Pass in advance, this way you always get tickets for the right train and are secure of seating at the same time :)
