We plan to stay 5 days in Tokyo (Jan 17-21) and 3 days in Kyoto (Jan 21-24), please advise us which convenience/shortest way to visit Fuji Mountain by JRPass, link of Hyperdia is great.

There is a general spot to visit Fuji, instead there are different areas around the mountain that are worth visiting.
