Hi. Does the JR Pass allow me to ride the the other trains like the JR East in Tokyo? And the same when I travel around areas in Osaka and Kyoto? Or is the JR Pass only good for using the Shinkansen Bullet Trains?

Hi there,
The JR Pass covers all JR lines, including the JR East lines in Tokyo and basically and JR line elsewhere :)
The Shinkansen are also included.
