Youre great, been Reading alot here.

I will arrive at Tokyo Narita in april 12 to april 19. I will be staying at capitol Tokyu near Okamura chair museum.

  1. If i purchase the Jr pass for 7 days is there a possible way to take the train/trains to/near the hotel? If yes which train/train lines?

  2. I would also want to travel to Nara park, which nearest train lines should i take from capitol hotel Tokyo ? ( im thinking about staying at Nara for 24hours)

  3. I would like to make a daytrip to the outlet market near mt Fuji, can i use the jr pass? And if so which train lines?

  4. i would also like to make a daytrip to see the monkeys, is there a way from the capitol hotel?

My first thought was to buy limousine bus voucher because it will stop at capitol hotel but maybe i can make all My travels with the Jr pass + suica card?

Hi there,

Apologies for the late reply, I try to reply to every post within 24 hours but between the high amount of posts lately and other duties, it can take a bit longer.

That said, I'll be more than happy to answer your questions in detail.

1.) I looked up your hotel and while it is well connected on the Tokyo Metro there's not really a JR Station within walking distance. The closest is likely Shimbashi station but its a good 20min walk.

2.) You could go to Nara JR station, from there all of the city can be reached on foot. Though there's also a loop bus that circles the main sights and is only 100yen per ride.

3.) For Fuji, please see:https://www.jrpass.com/blog/itinerary-tip-mt-fuji

4.) I think you mean Jigokudani Snow Monkey park? It is possible to do it as a day trip but it quite a long trip to make. You can take the JR Shinkansen to Nagano and use local transport from there to the park (local transport is not included in the JR Pass). A whole trip takes about 4 hours one way. So leave early.

5.) For arrival, you could use the JR Pass and Narita express to Tokyo station. Then use the Tokyo Metro (just 2 stops) to your hotel (and use Suica on the metro).

Hope this helps,
Daniel
