My husband and I, and my brother will be traveling to Japan in September for 12 days. We plan to go to Osaka first and then visit Hiroshima and Kyoto. Then make our back to Tokyo to visit Mt. Fuji and Tokyo Disney. Are JR Passes available for single day use? Also, where's the best place to purchase Regional passes?

You will be travelling to cities all over Japan, in such as case, a regional pass does not make sense. You can find out why here. So the best option is to use a Japan Rail Pass. These come in 7, 14 and 21 day lengths.
