Hello, we are planning a multi-week to Japan and would like to travel by bicycle. we would like to cycle in several areas of Japan and move from area to area with our bicycles by train. can we use a rail pass and load our bikes onto train?

Hi there,
It is possible to take your bike on the train, but you will need a special bike bag, among other arrangements. The JR Pass will allow this, just as any normal ticket.
