Will I be using JR Pass making the trip on the way from Fukuoka to Tokyo beginning of August? Can I make stopover for visiting places on my way? I have 4-5 days to travel and cover that distance. I want to get feeling of rural Japan, its my first time. TIA for advice and clarification.

Hi there,
Yes, the JR Pass is truly unlimited in that you can make as many stopovers as you like. This is great if you like to take your time exploring.
Kind regards,
Daniel
