Hi,

I will be travelling in March to the following cities. I am not sure how many day pass I should get or any at all. Appreciate your valuable advice on the itinerary as well.

22/3: Arrive Tokyo via Haneda. Hotel is at Shinjuku
23/3 - 24/3: Mt Fuji. (2 nights at Kawaguchiko)
25/3 - 29/5: Kyoto (5 nights at Kyoto) day trips to Arashiyama, Nara
30/3 - 31/3: Osaka (day trip to Kobe)
1/4 - 5/4: Tokyo

Looking forward to hearing any recommendations/suggestions.

Hi there,

A 7-day JR Pass would be good on this route, if you'd make the return trip Tokyo - Kyoto/Osaka within the validity period. Your trip is longer than this, so I suggest just using normal tickets.

Kind regards,
Daniel
