Planning for above trip (6 days). Planning to go to Mt.. Fuji area from Tokyo. Have bought JR pastor the whole family.
To go to Mt Fuji area, what station JR do we take? where do we get off at Mt. Fuji?
want to book a place for 1 night. Friends suggested Hakone, any yore places more convenient to JR station?
The next day taking JR to Kyoto, which station do we get back on the train?
staying in kyoto Brighton Hotel.
Going to Osaka early AM of the 23rd, return flight is at 11:00 PM. Can we go to Kyoto--> hiroshima , stay for 2 hrs, then come c\back to Osaka ta noon?

Hi there,

There are several options available for Fuji, we have a detailed post here:

If you do travel on to Kyoto, then Hakone is the easiest option. It has a Shinkansen station by the name of Odawara station and is directly on route between Tokyo and Kyoto.

It would be possible to visit Hiroshima with a 11pm departure but I would advise planning it well, you don't want to miss your flight!
