hi!

I'll be in Japan from April 28 through May 9th

I'll land in Narita and spend 3 days in Tokyo, then going to Kyoto for three days, then Osaka three more days and finally going back from Osaka to Tokyo.

Do I have to buy the pass for an amount of days or buying the pass by trip is better in this case?

If I do buy the weekly pass, does it include the Tokyo Metro or is that sold separately?

Thanks!
Daniel

Hello there,

A 7 day JR Pass is about the same price as a normal return ticket Tokyo - Kyoto. Now you get 7 days of unlimited travel. After having done the return, any additional travel is basically what you save :)

The metro/subway is not included but you can use the local JR Network in many cases.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
