My friends and I will be arriving at the Narita International Airport in the middle of March at around 5 p.m. We plan to continue on to Kyoto by taking the shinkansen. What are the approximate times for the shinkansen to Kyoto at that time and what would is the name of the shinkansen for that route.

Hello there,
To get from Narita Airport to Kyoto: first take the Narita express to Tokyo station. At Tokyo station transfer to the Tokaido Shinkansen bound for Kyoto. The route takes about 5 hours all together.
