Hi, I will be arriving in Japan for a two week trip beginning in Tokyo for 5 nights, Hakone for one night, Kyoto for 5 nights and Osaka for 4 nights, then take a bullet train from Osaka to Narita International Airport. Should I buy a pass or just buy individual tickets? Thank you.

Hi there,
For this trip it would be more economic to buy tickets as you travel. A JR Pass would have been good if you make the return Tokyo - Kyoto/Osaka - Tokyo within 7 days.
