Is Shinkansen HAYABUSA included on JR PASS?
Is it in operation already from TOKYO - HOKKAIDO stopping at HAKODATE HOKUTO Station? 4 hours travel ?
Please validate :] This info will greatly simplify my FUK - TOKYO - HAKODATE - TOKYO - FUK trip.

Hi,
Yes it is included, and goes to Hakodate. Please note that you must have seat reservations for the Hayabusa. You can do them in any JR office, and they are free with the pass.

Wow, that really shortens travel time from Tokyo to HAkodate, Hokkaido to 4 hours!
In HYPERDIA site though, HAYABUSA is included in the NOZOMI group which I ticked off initially. And the route was not found.
To get the TOKYO- HAKODATE route, I realized I had to check mark also 'NOZOMI/ HAYABUSA . MAybe, HYPERDIA should separate HARABUSA from NOZOMI.
