Hi Zhen,
Yes! At least, I recommend getting one.
The cost of a 7 day JR Pass is about the same as a normal return ticket Tokyo - Kyoto, now you get 7 days of unlimited travel for the same price. Adding travel to and from Haneda alone would help you make savings.

Hello,
You could not use a JR Pass to get to Mt. Fuji. Most people go to either Hakone or the Fuji 5 Lakes Area. You can save money by getting one of the Odakyu passes.
