When using Hyperdia on this route, keep the option Hayabusa on - because this train is covered by the JR Pass.

But the JR Pass brochure indicates that the Hayabusa train is not included in the pass, like the Nozomi and the Mizuho.

Is it wrong?

Hi again,

The Hayabusa is included in the JR Pass, the Nozomi and Mizuho are not. This kinda makes for hard planning with Hyperdia, keep the option on going north of Tokyo but you have to turn it off when doing south.

Now, it's clear that the Hayabusa train is included in our passes. It makes me feel calm.

What's not clear is the second part of your message. I don't know other way to plan (with JR Pass) but Hyperdia. And before going to Hokkaido, we are visiting Hiroshima and around it.
