We are going to Japan next month and have already purchased our JR passes. I know that we can reserve our seats once we get to Japan, and have exchanged our vouchers for the actual JR Pass, but I understand that we can also reserve seats on the Tokyo to Hakodate shinkansen before we arrive in Japan. We want to make sure we get seats both ways on specific dates as these are not flexible. How do we go about doing this?
