Hello,
My wife and are visiting my daughter,son in law, and grand baby in April. We plan to arrive in Narita,,visit for few days.
We want to take Shinkensan from Tokyo to Osaka for a few days. My son and daughter are in US Air Force and plan to buy their own ticket since they can not get green cards like my wife and me since they live in Japan for three years.
When we go to Osaka We would want to all travel together on same train and sit near each other. How can this be arranged?

Hello there,
The best way is to simply reserve your seats at the same time/desk. Then the JR Staff can simply book your seats together.
The only difference is that your son and daughter will have to pay for the ticket while you can just show the JR Pass.
