Rail travel to specific cities

My wife and I are looking a taking a cruise around Japan this summer that leave from and returns to Yokohama. We would like to spend about a week traveling to the following cities and need to know if we can do this by train: Tokyo --> Nagasaki --> Hiroshima --> Kobe --> Osaka --> Kyoto --> Tokyo. Can we do this by train and is it feasible to do it in a week?

Hi there,

I would advise taking 2 weeks for these trip. Especially Nagasaki and Hiroshima are far from Tokyo and need a bit more time. You could do Tokyo - Kobe - Osaka - Kyoto - Tokyo in a week and enjoy your time there without being in a rush all the time. If you really want, you could add a side trip to Hiroshima but you'd spend about half a day traveling.
