I will be arriving to Tokyo for the Olympics July31,2020 for 7 days. When would be the best time to buy the Japan Rail Pass?
Also can I make reservations before I arrive to Japan?

Hi David Stephenson,
I would recommend getting the JR Pass at least 1month before you travel, this way you have plenty of time to receive it.
Some trains can be reserved before arriving in Japan, we're adding a guide for this to our blog this week, so please keep an eye out for it.
