Purchase JR passes for November and December 2023

Hi!

I am planning to get the following JR passes for my Japan trip.
1. Sanyo-San’in-Northern Kyushu Area Pass (7 days) (activation date: 14th Nov 2023)
2. JR Sanyo-San'in Area Pass (7 days) (activation date: 22nd Nov 2023)
3. JR Whole Japan Pass (21 days) (activation date: 29th Nov 2023)

I will only arrive in Japan on 9th November 2023.
Is it possible to buy all these passes on 16th August 2023 and use them on the periods of travel stated above for each pass?
I am a little confused about the 90 days from purchase date to exchange for the jr pass as the jr pass activation date can be 30 days from exchanging the order for the jr pass.

Hi there,

Each pass has a 3 month exchange period, so I suggest ordering 3 months before you final exchange date. So do so at the start of September.
