Hi,
our journey will begin in Tokyo 30.3. to 2.4. (3 nights).
2.4. we will activate 7 day JR pass from Tokyo station to Osaka.
In Osaka we will stay 6 nights. And Osaka also be our starting point to Kyoto, Hiroshima, Nara,.. (day trips).
From Osaka we will go back to Tokyo Shinjuku for last 3 nights.
Our hotel in central Osaka is close to JR Namba (1km). Will this station be okay to start trip to Kyoto, Hirošima, Tokyo..? We would like to use only JR pass.
Hi there,
Osaka station is a good place to start, there are local trains that run into the city and you can link up with Shin-Osaka station from where the Shinkansen explore the rest of Japan.
Osaka station is also called Umeda, which is the station name for the nearby Osaka subway.
