Dear Daniel
My coming trip is as follows
4 Nov: Arrive Narita -> train to Tokyo. Visit Tokyo
5 Nov: Train to Nikko. Train back to Tokyo
6 Nov: visit Tokyo
7 & 8 Nov: working in Tokyo
9 Nov: train to Kyoto
10 Nov: visit Kyoto
11 Nov: Train to Himeji then to Osaka
12 Nov: to Kansai airport
Please advise me
1. if the schedule is tight? (I travel with my mom who is 70 years old.
2. should i buy the 7-day JR pass?
iif i skip Nikko then does it worth buying JR Pass?
can i use JR Pass for train from Narita airport to Tokyo?
if not, what is the alternative?how can I travel from tokyo->nikko-> back to tokyo-> to Kyoto-> Himeji-> Osaka by train and how much it costs for each of those?
- I stay in total 8 days in Japan and I dont need to use JRpass on 12th Nov since night 11th Nov I will stay close to Kansai Airport. if I active the JR Pass on the 4th Nov ( to use for train from Narita to Tokyo) then up to what day i can use it? to 11th Nov?
- if I travel within Tokyo then does JR pass help? do i need to buy ticket for bus and metro?
thanks a lot
