Hi all, I'm trying to figure out if the JRAIL is worth it. 2 Adult and a 2 years old would be going to Japan in May, 2020. We are arriving at NRT on 5/13 around 5pm, thinking of going to Tokyo for the night then head out to Kyoto the next day, Kyoto May 13-18 then Osaka May 18-22 and back to Tokyo May 22-26. Leaving NRT May 26. THANKS!

Hi there,
A 7-day JR Pass will be worth it when used for a return trip Tokyo - Kyoto. You can also use the JR Pass for local travel to osaka, Narita airport and within cities like Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka on the JR Network.

Thanks for the reply, but i wont make it back to Tokyo with the 7 days pass. Is there any other way you recommend?
