I intend to buy the 7 days green JR Pass. Will arrive at Narita on 19/7 but intend to activate on 23/7. Will i be able to enjoy the benefits of the JR Pass (like free ride on the Narita Express and the JR lines in Tokyo) during the period from 19/7-22/7? Thanks.

Hi there,
There are two options for you to choose from:
1) You can exchange your JR Pass at Narita Airport and set 23 July as your start date. View office hours here.
2) The JR Pass is valid from Narita Airport and covers the Narita Express and the JR Yamanote Line, which serves most major Tokyo sights.
