Is there a difference in the trains you can use with all Kyushu pass or the JR rail pass?
We Travel from Kagoshima to Osaka from 1/9 till 18/9.
We can buy several regional passes or the 14 day pass and extra Kansai day passes What would you suggest?

Hi Marnix,
Difference in what sense do you mean? The JR Kyushu Pass covers all JR lines in Kyushu. I think the better option is to look at a Japan Rail Pass, as you will are coming from Osaka. You can buy multiple (regional) passes if you wish.

The validity area. JR Kyushu Pass is valid for only Kyushu.
JR Pass is valid for all JR lines nationwide, including Kyushu.
