Hello.
Is the JRpass still cover buses in Kyoto? If yes, where can I see the route map? I will stay in an hotel neat Kyoto station and want to visit KINKAU-JI on the north and FASHIMI INARI on the south. Please advise the best way to get to those places (except by foot). Thank you.
JR pass in Kyoto

Hi,
We are in the last year in Kyoto and use this form to reach these regions.
1. For Kinkaku-JI, we use the bus that leaves from in front of the Train Station.
2. Even to go at Fushimi Inari, use the JR Pass on the train Nara Line.

Have a good trip!

Thank you for your quick response.
Do you mean that I can use the JRpass on bus no' 205 that goes from Kyoto station to KINKAU-JI?

No.
But the bus fare is not expensive. 500 yen to use all day!
Regards

Thank you.
