Jr green car pass upgrade to gran class

Hi there,

In case you want to upgrade to Gran Class, then you'd have to pay the Gran Class fee. On this route, that's JPY 8,800 for Gran Class. Personally, I don't think this is worth it if you're already in Green Class.

I have a JR pass green class 7 days ,

The train fare itself is covered by the Japan Rail Pass, but holders must pay for an additional Gran Class charge, that is, the difference to the standard or Green Class ticket

For gran class fee is JPY 8,800 and green class fee is 5,650
I have to pay only additional charge with gran & green class ( 3,150 JPY ) Or I have to pay JPY 8,800

There is no upgrade path from Green ⇾ Gran Class, that means the full Gran Class fee on this route of JPY 8,800 applies.

I know this may seem unfair, unfortunately that's how the system works.
