Dear,

Should I purchase Japan Rail Pass 7 days?

I will be travel Kensai - Osaka - Kyoto - Takayama - Hokkaido - Tokyo - Narita in Oct 2018 for 1 week, My schedule is as below:-

12 Oct - Kensai to Naomi Namba
13 Oct - Kyoto
14 Oct - Takayama
15 Oct - Yamagata, Yonezawa, Shimonhanazawa
16 Oct - Sapporo
17 Oct - Shinjuku
18 Oct - Tokyo
19 Oct - Narita

I plan to purchase 7 days JR pass I would like to know can I use the pass for all these trip. I plan to start the pass from 13 Oct at 7 am until 19 Oct 7 pm.

Please help me what train do I need to ride.

Hi Srivara,

Yes, I 7 day JR Pass will help you make amazing savings here. I would not be surprised if it would be as high as 300% of the price of a 7 day JR Pass in savings.

For travel times, I recommend learning to plan with Hyperdia this way you can find any route/timetable and more. It's a great tool for planning with the JR Pass. We also have a useful interactive map with all JR lines included.
