I need to get from Narita to Tokyo hotel (near Tokyo Station relatively) and then on next day to Fujikawaguchi station. A couple days later I would return to Tokyo Station/ hotel. Otherwise my travels in Japan would be with a group or locally in Kyoto area. I'm not sure that a JR pass would pay for itself with these limited, non group travels. Can you help me with this question?

Hi Kate,
A JR Pass would indeed not help you make savings unless you'd use it to travel from Tokyo to Kyoto and back.
Kind regards,
Daniel
