Is this means it’s full , I will need to be standing?
I have the jr pass and trying to reserve the seat from shinjiku to kawaguchiko
Or there is still free seating to seat in certain cabin?

Hi there,
The best thing is to ask directly at any station if JR Staff can book seats for you.
Making reservations online is not always possible.
