Understand that we need to book early to Shirakawa-go as limited seats available. How to book early as I will be going to Shirakawa-go the 2nd day I arrived at Osaka. If I book the seats when I arrive at Osaka, will it be too late? And also I need to book the return seats from Shirakawa-go to Kyoto. Please advise.

Do you mean the bus or train for part of the way to Shirakawa-go? I don't think that the train will be a problem.
