Hi there, we are coming to Tokyo for RWC arriving early hours of Saturday morning (19/10). We plan to hang around the rugby fan zones on the Saturday and Sunday. On Monday (21/10) we go to Yamanouchi then to Yamanashi and back to Tokyo for rugby Friday 25/10 for the weekend. We then head to Kyoto Monday 28/10 for the week then back to Tokyo for the finals that weekend. Monday 3/11 we go to Hiroshima then Tuesday 4/11 straight to Narida airport to fly home. Do you think it will be best value to buy 14 day pass or 21 days? Thank you in advance.

Hi there,
Yes, a JR Pass would be good value with travel to the Nagano area, Tokyo, Kyoto and Hiroshima. I think using a 14-day if the better option if you can fit all your longer routes, such as to Nagano (for Yamanouchi), Kyoto and Hiroshima.
Kind regards,
Daniel
