Hello,
We will arrive to Narita airport at 3:10 PM on 27 March 2020 then going to Osaka on the same day.
We will stay and visit Osaka and Kyoto area for 6 days then head back to Tokyo on the 2 April-2020 .
We will stay in Tokyo for 1 day ( we have visited Tokyo last year ) then head to Narita airport to catch the plane home back to Canada on the 3-April ( I think we have to buy extra N'EX train tickets 1 way from Tokyo to Narita Airport because the 7 day pass would have expired at midnight of the 2 April )
Is the Hokuriku Arch Pass a good choice or should we buy the 7 day JR Pass ( which is more expensive at 29110 yens )
Or if you have any other suggestion ?
Thank you very much,
Triett

Hi there,

I'd definitely take a JR Pass here. The extra travel time to Osaka is not worth it (up to 3 hours one way). I'd recommend a Hokuriku Arch Pass, if you want to visit some of the cities along the route, like Kanazawa and Nagano. Otherwise it is an easy choice and you should always use the JR Pass.

Kind regards,
Daniel
