We will be purchasing a JR Pass and will be traveling from Hiroshima to Fukuoka by train (we hope). Using our Rail Pass. What trains do we need to catch and are they included in our JR passes?
I have also looked at the site Hyperdia for help on tracking our route but am a little confused by it all.
Many Thanks.

Hi there,

When searching Fukuoka in Hyperdia use the station name Hakata, this is the Shinkansen station for Fukuoka.

You can use the Sakura Shinkansen directly from Hiroshima to Hakata station using the Japan Rail Pass.

Hope this helps :)
