Further to my former questions, please answer the following:
1. does the pass include the lines of JR east pass ? (for example Narita-Tokyo)
2. If my plan is: Narita- Tokyo- Kyoto- Osaka- Tokyo, shall I buy the general JR pass, or the JR east pass ?
3. Is the line Tokyo to Kyoto included in the East Japan Railway company ?
4. If I land at Narita at 17:15 and plan to go to Kyoto in the same evening, can I activate and validate the pass at Narita terminal 1? I saw that JR counters at Narita close at 18:00. What is the solution ?
5. Is there an activation option via internet after receiving the JR Pass ?
If positive, will I be able to book train tickets in the internet, before my arrival to Japan, after this activation of the Pass ?
6. Is it possible to move between the carriages with non reserved seats ?
7 . Can you tell me the meaning of : Midori no Mado Guchi ticket offices

1.) Yes
2.) The Japan Rail Pass is the only option that covers Tokyo - Kyoto/Osaka, it is an easy choice :)
3.) No, as this route goes through JR Central and JR West.
4.) I would recommend against it, the last train connection is at 19:00 to Kyoto and right now immigration can take hours due to the high amount of visitors in Japan. My advice would be to book a room in Tokyo or Yokohama and travel on the following morning, this will make your arrival much more relaxed!
5.) No
6.) Yes
7.) Midori means green and mado guchi means window, this is the Japanese word for ticket window.
