Hi, pls advise how to get to Sapporo to Kanazawa using the Shinkansen?
What's the fastest way and how long will it take?
Which station do I go to at Sapporo? Thanks

Hi there,

You can take a ltd. express train from Sapporo station to Shin-Hakodate-Hakuto, from where you can use the Hokkaido Shinkansen to Tokyo. At Tokyo board the Hokuriku shinkansen to Kanazawa.

The full route takes about 10-12 hours if done in one go and is fully covered by the JR Pass.
