Hello.
I want to know how to get from Kyoto to Seki (Gifu) with my JR pass. I want to visit the Knife Museum and buy my own Sushi knife.
It is better to go to Seki from Gifu? Or from Minoota?

Thank you very much,

Poket

Hello Poket,

That's a good reason to visit Seki!

Seki station is on the Nagaragawa Tetsudo which is not covered by the JR Pass. You can use the JR Pass as far as Mino-Ota station (take the Shinkansen to Nagoya, then a local line to Mino-Ota station).

I think that would be the best way, I could however not find any alternative via Gifu.

Kind regards,
Daniel
