We will be in Japan end May-early June. What is the fastest route (can we travel bullet trains?) from Fuji Lakes region to Kyoto??

Hi there,
There is not really a fast route and the best route depends on what time of day you travel.
The two main routes to consider are:
1.) Local trains from Kawaguchiko -> Shin-Yokohama and then the Hikari to Kyoto
2.) The Highway express bus to Mishima and from there the Shinkansen to Kyoto.
Again, the best depends on what time you depart but each will take around 5-6 hours.
