Hi Daniel,
I have a trip coming up that was supposed to be a week in South Korea and then two weeks in japan and we are now canceling our South Korea trip unfortunately. I have already purchased the 14 day pass but now we’re just going to spend three weeks in japan and I was wondering if I should return the 14 day pass and then purchase the 21 day pass or is there a way I can add to what I already have? Planing on visiting April 1st -22.
Extended our stay
Hi there,
It is not possible to extend a JR Pass directly. It would indeed mean refunding your 14-day JR Pass, then get a 21-day JR Pass.
First though, I would check whether a 21-day JR Pass would really be beneficial. Should you wish to change your pass, then please contact our sales team at [email protected]
Kind regards,
Daniel
Thanks for the info. I will mull it over. I also purchased the WiFi bundle with the pass and was just wondering if I can just purchase a week separately but add them together when we arrive?
