I am arriving 18th.sept.and departing on 25th.
From 19th.sept.to 24th.sept.how can I use my JR pass effectively to sight seeing.
Suggest an itinerary daily using the JR pass during my stay. Exception will be 22nd.i Hv to attend a wedding in Tokyo.
I am staying in Shinjuku.

It is actually pretty hard to make a itinerary just out of thin air. As a start, I recommend reading this:

On activating my JR pass on 19th.Sept., do you think I can make a day trip to Kyoto or Nara ,returning to Tokyo on the same day.
Alternatively which itinerary ( day trip) will allow me to experience the Shinkansen with my JR pass.

Not on the same day, perhaps a day trip to either Kyoto or Nara but you will want some time to look around as well :)
