I will be entering Japan via a cruise ship disembarking at Yokohama. Will I be going through customs and obtain the temporary tourist stamp? If not, what do I need to do to obtain that stamp to redeem the JR 7-Day pass?

Hi there,
I believe you would - however, this is not a question I can answer for sure, as visa questions are port of immigration and border control. You may want to check ahead of time with your cruise line.
