Dear Daniel-san,
I understand that JR pass is applicable from Fukuoka to Tokyo. However, I read in one of the sites that JR pass holders cannot use Nozomi trains. Is JR Shinkansen Nozomi one of the Nozomi trains?

Hi there,
This is correct going from Fukuoka (Hakata station), you can use the Sakura Shinkansen from Hakata to Shin-Osaka and then the Hikari Shinkansen from there to Tokyo.

Sorry Daniel I am confused. That does mean all "Shinkansen Nozomi" trains cannot be used by JR pass 7day holders? Only Sakura Sinkansen?

No Nozomi/Mizuho Shinkansen but all other Shinkansen, inc. the Sakura are included.
