Can I pay to upgrade "one" ride from shinkansan hikari to nozomi (tokyo to osaka) if i have a 7 day JR pass?

Hi,
I have brought the 7 day JR pass. I can use only shinkansan Hikari if i want to travel from tokyo to osaka. But i find that the departure time of Hikari is not as eariler as the Nozomi one. I only want to upgrade one ride from tokyo to osaka. How much to upgrade ? Thanks!

Hi Lily,

The Nozomi is not included in the Japan Rail Pass, passengers wishing to use the Nozomi have to buy a normal (full fare) ticket.
